Old poster, new look

Perhaps this one picture really is worth a thousand words

Tom Kovach (rhymes with "watch") lives near Nashville, is a former USAF Blue Beret, and has written for several online publications. He has written two books: Slingshot in 2006, and Tribulation: 2008 in late August of 2008. Tom is an inventor, a horse wrangler, a certified paralegal, and former network talk-show host. He has also run for Congress. To learn more, click: www.TomKovach.US.

My columns sometimes have a tendency to "go long". This one will compensate.

A friend forwarded an e-mail that contained a collection of patriotic posters from World War Two.

One poster, in particular, stood out.

Looking at that poster, I thought about how much our society has changed, even within my lifetime (51 years). At the time that poster was printed, almost everyone would've agreed with it. Americans understood that our country was founded upon principles from the Holy Bible. And, that generation also understood that, if those principles were attacked, then freedom could crumble -- because our freedoms ultimately come from God. Thus, when the Nazis attacked freedom, they also attacked God. The Nazis were known for using occult symbols, etc., to attack the minds of the followers of God, in an effort to undermine freedom.

Today, a similar enemy seeks to attack both our God and our freedoms.

So, within a few minutes on the computer, I had "doctored" the old poster to give it a slightly new look. And, the result shows who the real enemy of God is today.

It seems that the enemy of God now has something new "up his sleeve".

But, it's still the same old "Enemy".

Do not be deceived.

Mere coincidence??)
